He is an international pioneer of modern brachytherapy.  He received his medical doctorate in India, did his surgical residency in the United Kingdom, surgical fellowship in Chicago, then moved to Washington, DC to train in radiation.

More than 250 guests enjoyed the evening of elegant dining and enjoyable entertainment, and bid on generously donated luxury items at the silent and live auctions. Attendees included corporate sponsors, business and philanthropic leaders, underwriters, and distinguished community leaders. Last year, more than 300 guests attended the Orange County-wide Celebration of Life gala.

This year’s gala was themed: Hope Grows in Orange County.  The evening’s event benefited the American Cancer Society Orange County’s free patient programs and services and lifesaving cancer research.

About the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is a global grassroots force of 2.5 million volunteers saving lives and fighting for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community.
