Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas – LoneStar Radiation Oncology proudly welcomes Dr. Charles H. Matthews as the Radiation Oncologist caring for patients in its new Trophy Club facility.

LoneStar Radiation Oncology provides the latest in cancer fighting technology including IMRT, IGRT and Electron Beam Radiation Therapy. Dr. Matthews will lead a top notch clinical staff that includes dosimetrists, nurses, radiation therapists and other accredited health care professionals.

Dr. Charles Matthews is a Duke Alumnus who completed his training in radiation oncology at the Johns Hopkins University Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences. He was the only graduating student from his medical school to complete both his medical degree and business degree at the same time at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and Babcock Graduate School of Management. He was one of the main contributors to a widely utilized handbook by medical students and radiation oncology residents across the country: Radiation Oncology: A Question Based Review. He has published in major peer reviewed journals. His areas of interest include Prostate cancer, Breast cancer and Lung Cancer. He resides in North Dallas with his wife and two sons.
